From data privacy nightmares to legal minefields, leaders must take a proactive approach to AI risk management before problems spiral out of control.
So, what should leaders be paying attention to? Let’s break it down.
1. AI Hallucinations & Misinformation: When AI Makes Things Up
One of the biggest (and most bizarre) risks with GenAI is hallucination—where AI generates information that sounds correct but is completely false. Unlike traditional software, which follows strict logic, GenAI models predict plausibleresponses based on patterns, not facts.

📌 Real-World Example: Samsung employees accidentally leaked sensitive company code by pasting it into ChatGPT. The AI stored the information, making it accessible to future queries—a major security failure.
